RFL Clothing Fair! Labgraal in Concert!!!!

Tomorrow the Relay Raiders' Clothing Fair for Relay for Life of Second Life officially opens! At 10:00am the regions will be thrown open to the public and the shopping frenzy will commence!

But there's more to this event than simply the collection of 84 top designers in one four region extravaganza! Our very own Pips Fetid (Confined @ SkyBeam Tradewinds) is the opening DJ at 10:00am and will be followed at Noon by our own LabGraal (Apparition Wood, SkyBeam FirstLand) in concert! If you haven't heard Sheela Nagy and LabGraal in concert, be brave, face the crowds and come listen! (If you miss this show, don't worry, they'll be on SkyBeam Moving Waves on April 5, at 1pm).

There will be non-stop entertainment going the entire event, arranged almost totally by Nevar Lobo and Pips Fetid, who also designed the regions!

If you can't make the opening or the concert, do try to stop by during the rest of the event. There will be items created specifically for the fair and the donations to relay for life in terms of items that are 100% or split sales will be bountiful!

Happy shopping!

ZOMG! Another new region!

Yes, indeed, our latest region has hit the ground and I'm busily terraforming and getting ready to lay paths, bridges and so forth! Like Tradewinds, SkyBeam Tradewaters is a mixed residential/commercial use region, allowing you to have your business and your home on the same location, or have strictly either.

There's one absolutely great little 1024 island that would be awesome for a reasonably primmed lighthouse if anyone has ever wanted one as a home or shop!

It is a double prim region with lots of greenery abounding and architecturally we want to stay pre-1930, a direction I believe I will head throughout any remaining growth in SkyBeam. Feel free to kibbitz on this idea.

Open Space R Us!!!

The Lindens have blessed Open Space regions to enjoy a full quarter region's worth of prims!!! Between now and March 31, all existing open space regions will have their prim count raised to 3750 from 1875!

The regions can be ordered individually and a new pricing policy will be introduced this coming week...

More as I have it...

Covenant Revision ...

A small update to the covenant will be winding its way to you this weekend. As usual, you will get a recap of all the changes made and have ten days to agree to the covenant (silence is assumed to be agreement).

Announcing SkyBeam Tradewaters!

SkyBeam Tradewinds came and went so fast, it just begs a partner! SkyBeam Tradewaters will move in north of SkyBeam Tradewinds and be another mixed commercial/residential zone. I'm not certain we'll keep to the precise theme, though the trees and terrain will remain unified, but if there's warm reception to the idea, I'll run with it!

The region is on order so if you have any friends lusting over your parcels, let them know I will custom cut and include the first four weeks tier for all pre-orders!

Friends list.... waiting....

If you're having trouble with your friends list just saying 'waiting' and a simple relog doesn't fix it, here's some steps just handed down by one of the Lindens:

1) Go to Edit - Preferences - Network and click Clear cache
2) Log out
3) Log back in
4) Open your 'Contacts' and pick any friend
5) Toggle 'show online' (first checkbox to the right of their name) status from off, then back on
6) Log out again and wait a few minutes (do not re-clear cache)
7) Log back in

Then all should be fine and dandy. It sounds like a lot of steps, but when all else fails...

Thank you for a great Leap Day Ball!!!

A day late, but I'd like to thank everyone who attended the Leap Day ball (or thought about it and forgot )! We had a great time (twice even!).

Extended thanks go to Pips Fetid for dj'ing the early ball and Dakota Christensen for dj'ing at the later event. They both did a great job of keeping us dancing.

The residents all did a great job of keeping me smiling and laughing!

I'm looking forward to our next community event already!

And things roll merrily along...

There are ONLY three 1024 parcels remaining on SkyBeam Tradewinds! I'm very pleased with the outstanding response!

I also have three parcels open on SkyBeam Wood. One is a standard 2048 and the other two are smaller parcels than I normally make available. One of the two parcels is a 640 with 292 prims, the other is a 784 with 358 prims. They should make great starter parcels for someone and would also be a nice opportunity for some extra prims for a resident in the region.

Pastures will likely be ordered in the next week or two, so if you know anyone who is inclined to ride, please drop a bug in their ear that shomething special this way comes :)
